QUEST Education and California Academy of Sciences present
Invasive Species in Your Backyard
a professional development workshop for upper elementary, middle and high school educators
Most of us know that if you scoop a handful of critters out of the San Francisco Bay you’ll find exotics from far away shores. Invasive types of mussels, fish and more are choking out native species. But getting students to the Bay to study this first-hand can be challenging. Instead, you can collect invasive species right in your own school yard!
